Our story
A firm built for complex, high-stakes infrastructure
JNG Consultants was founded on the belief that complex infrastructure demands more than a single discipline. From remote airfield upgrades to large-scale urban terminal expansions, our work requires deep technical expertise, regulatory fluency, and the ability to coordinate across agencies, contractors, and communities — wherever the project is located.
We are building a reputation for delivering projects that are on time, on budget, and built to last — across some of the most demanding operating environments in the country.
Design principles
A philosophy of practice
Design is how separate things learn to belong together. A design becomes whole when response, belonging, purpose, and communication reinforce one another in a form people can understand. These four principles are not separate doctrines — they are four ways of asking whether relationships have been composed well.
The framework moves from behavior to belonging, from belonging to purpose, and from purpose to communication. Together, they help the designer move beyond appearance toward the deeper structures that make a design intelligible — and give those structures dignity, clarity, and life.
Cybernetic Arrangement
Design responds to change. Buildings function as adaptive systems shaped by feedback, environmental response, and behavior over time — not finished objects, but living networks of exchange. Cybernetic Arrangement asks how a design listens, adjusts, and holds together under dynamic conditions. Response is where coherence first becomes active.
Natural Systems
Design belongs to the living world. Natural systems offer models of hierarchy, resilience, flow, and ecological continuity. Patterns found in nature — branching, circulation, equilibrium — inform how environments can be organized to support movement, reduce friction, and sustain life. Nature is not an aesthetic reference; it is a structural and organizational guide for belonging.
Metaphysical Clarity
Design reveals its reason for being. Architecture must express underlying order, purpose, and essence — not program alone, but the deeper reason a design exists. Even within technical or industrial contexts, a facility can disclose its logic: why it is here, how it functions, and what role it plays within a larger whole. Purpose gives form direction.
Language Structure
Design communicates. Just as grammar organizes thought, architectural form organizes experience. The syntax of a building — its sequence, hierarchy, rhythm, and spatial vocabulary — shapes how people move, work, and perceive their environment. Language Structure asks how purpose becomes readable to others, how meaning unfolds through movement, and how design can be understood, remembered, and cared for.
The most convincing designs are not those that explain themselves loudly, but those whose parts seem to know why they are there. Structure, light, material, movement, service, climate, memory, and use support one another until the work feels inevitable — not perfect, but adequate to its responsibilities. Coherence is not perfection. It is care made legible.

Jason Gamache AIA, NCARB, LEED AP
CEO / Principal Architect
Jason brings 20+ years of professional practice and licensure across 16 U.S. states to every project he leads. A Virginia Tech B.Arch graduate, AIA member, NCARB-certified, LEED accredited and a founding board member of the International Living Future Institute, he serves as JNG's CEO / Principal Architect and aviation facilities specialist — overseeing planning, design, and execution of airport and airline infrastructure from early programming through construction administration. His project experience spans Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, and Hawaii, covering cargo sort facilities, airline maintenance hangars, terminal improvements, and master plans for major carriers and airport authorities at locations like HNL, LAX, SFO, PDX, ANC, and SEA, to name a few. Beyond aviation, Jason's portfolio extends across residential, commercial, and educational facilities — reflecting a breadth of practice that informs his systems-level thinking on every project type he leads. A committed advocate for sustainable design, his LEED accreditation and founding role with the International Living Future Institute reflect a career-long belief that responsible building practice is inseparable from good architecture. Jason is also a published author — his book, The Composition of Relationship and Coherence, explores the philosophical and structural principles that underpin his approach to design. He is known for leading multidisciplinary teams through complex, large-scale projects with a focus on FAA compliance, operational efficiency, and long-term value.
Willie Zamora AIA Associate
Senior Architectural Designer / BIM Manager
Willie brings more than 21 years of architectural production experience to every project he touches — from early conceptual sketches through construction administration. A graduate of the Technological Institute of the Philippines with a five-year B.S. in Architecture, he began his career in the Philippines contributing to the design and drafting of schools, airports, industrial facilities, high-rise buildings, and hotel establishments — a foundation that shaped his technical range and his ability to work across project types at every scale. He is an AIA Associate member and NCARB Intern Architect Program completer with licensure examinations in progress. His career spans a remarkable breadth of project types: government, healthcare, airport, commercial, industrial, educational, institutional, and residential — with deep roots in Alaska's most demanding institutional clients, including the Municipality of Anchorage, University of Alaska Anchorage, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, Alaska Railroad, and Southcentral Foundation, among others. Willie and Jason first became colleagues nearly two decades ago, a working relationship built on mutual respect and a shared commitment to precision and craft that continues to define the culture of JNG today. Willie's technical fluency in Revit and AutoCAD, combined with a track record of more than 200 completed projects, makes him a cornerstone of JNG's BIM production and documentation capability. He is known for his precision, his ability to coordinate complex multidisciplinary teams, and his steady presence across every phase of a project's life.
Doan-Nhi Nguyen, LEED AP
Senior Project Manager / Architectural Designer
Nhi brings 18+ years of professional experience in design, program implementation, and construction management to every project she leads. A LEED Accredited Professional, she holds a Master of Science in Construction Management from the University of Washington (2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Temple University (2008) — a dual foundation in design intent and delivery precision that defines her approach to complex, fast-moving projects. Her airport project management experience spans some of the country's busiest and most operationally demanding facilities, including SEA, PDX, MSY, OAK, LAS, and DFW — coordinating across owners, airlines, general contractors, and airport authorities to deliver tenant improvements, facility upgrades, and infrastructure projects with minimal disruption to active operations. Recent engagements include Alaska Airlines Flight Training Center improvements at SEA and tenant improvement projects for the Washington State Department of Transportation. Nhi is skilled at managing phased schedules, facilitating OAC meetings, reviewing submittals, and driving projects from design through construction administration. At JNG, she brings that same discipline to the firm's project management practice, ensuring that every engagement is delivered on schedule, on budget, and to the standard the firm's clients expect.
